No. Self-referrals are welcome for all initial stages of programming. Healthcare provider referrals are also accepted.Do I need a referral to access programs?
Programs are free for Saskatchewan residents, funded through the Saskatchewan Health Authority. Out-of-province participants can contact us for fee details.Is there a cost to attend programs?
Participants must be medically and psychiatrically stable. We welcome youth (16+), adults, and caregivers impacted by disordered eating.Who is eligible to attend BridgePoint?
Apply online through our website by choosing either the onsite or virtual application form. Our Intake Team will contact you once received.How do I apply?
Yes. Many participants have co-occurring mental health concerns. We ask that individuals are stable enough for a non-medical, group-based setting.Can I participate if I have other mental health concerns?
Yes, most of our programs are co-ed. If you require a female-only program, please let us know and we’ll do our best to accommodate you.Is BridgePoint co-ed?
Yes, participants may keep their phones. We encourage mindful use to support focus, recovery, and rest.Can I keep my phone during the program?
Yes, Wi-Fi is available throughout the facility for your use.Is there Wi-Fi?
Yes, parking is free for all participants and visitors. No permit is required.Is there parking?
No, we do not enforce meal plans. Meals are offered in a supportive, non-diet environment. Participants are encouraged, not required, to engage with meals in a way that supports their recovery.Do you provide a meal plan?
We are located in the former Milden Hospital in Milden, Saskatchewan — about 1.5 hours from Saskatoon, between Outlook and Rosetown.Where is BridgePoint located?
All meals, snacks, program materials, and basic laundry facilities are included. Towels and laundry baskets are provided for each participant.What is included during my stay?
BridgePoint is a closed, supportive environment during programming hours. Outside appointments or errands should be arranged before or after your stay.Can I leave during the retreat?
We offer multi-week recovery modules, caregiver and youth support groups, trauma-informed recovery options, and 1:1 counselling and nutrition services.What kinds of virtual programs do you offer?
We use secure platforms such as Lumeca and Recovery Record, designed for health care privacy and ease of use.What platform do you use for virtual programs?
You’ll need a stable internet connection, a webcam, and a quiet, private space. Recovery Record can be accessed by phone or tablet.Do I need special equipment for virtual care?
Participants are responsible for their own travel. Bus service is available to Rosetown — contact us in advance if you need a ride from there to Milden.Is transportation provided?
Yes, the building is wheelchair accessible. Let us know in advance about any accommodation needs.Is the facility accessible?
You’ll receive a packing list before arrival. Bring comfortable clothing, indoor shoes, toiletries, and any necessary medications.What should I bring?
