What is BridgePoint?

BridgePoint is a Saskatchewan-based, non-profit eating disorder recovery centre offering onsite retreats, virtual programs, and caregiver support. We use a trauma-informed, holistic, and non-diet approach to healing.

Do I need a referral to access programs?

No. Self-referrals are welcome for all initial stages of programming. Healthcare provider referrals are also accepted.

Is there a cost to attend programs?

Programs are free for Saskatchewan residents, funded through the Saskatchewan Health Authority. Out-of-province participants can contact us for fee details.

Who is eligible to attend BridgePoint?

Participants must be medically and psychiatrically stable. We welcome youth (16+), adults, and caregivers impacted by disordered eating.

How do I apply?

Apply online through our website by choosing either the onsite or virtual application form. Our Intake Team will contact you once received.

Can I participate if I have other mental health concerns?

Yes. Many participants have co-occurring mental health concerns. We ask that individuals are stable enough for a non-medical, group-based setting.

Is BridgePoint co-ed?

Yes, most of our programs are co-ed. If you require a female-only program, please let us know and we’ll do our best to accommodate you.

Can I keep my phone during the program?

Yes, participants may keep their phones. We encourage mindful use to support focus, recovery, and rest.

Is there Wi-Fi?

Yes, Wi-Fi is available throughout the facility for your use.

Is there parking?

Yes, parking is free for all participants and visitors. No permit is required.

Do you provide a meal plan?

No, we do not enforce meal plans. Meals are offered in a supportive, non-diet environment. Participants are encouraged, not required, to engage with meals in a way that supports their recovery.

Where is BridgePoint located?

We are located in the former Milden Hospital in Milden, Saskatchewan — about 1.5 hours from Saskatoon, between Outlook and Rosetown.

What is included during my stay?

All meals, snacks, program materials, and basic laundry facilities are included. Towels and laundry baskets are provided for each participant.

Can I leave during the retreat?

BridgePoint is a closed, supportive environment during programming hours. Outside appointments or errands should be arranged before or after your stay.

What kinds of virtual programs do you offer?

We offer multi-week recovery modules, caregiver and youth support groups, trauma-informed recovery options, and 1:1 counselling and nutrition services.

What platform do you use for virtual programs?

We use secure platforms such as Lumeca and Recovery Record, designed for health care privacy and ease of use.

Do I need special equipment for virtual care?

You’ll need a stable internet connection, a webcam, and a quiet, private space. Recovery Record can be accessed by phone or tablet.

Is transportation provided?

Participants are responsible for their own travel. Bus service is available to Rosetown — contact us in advance if you need a ride from there to Milden.

Is the facility accessible?
